Mixer League Rules
1. Please remember that every stroke must be accounted for: i.e. no mulligans.
2. For any tie scores, the winner is based on Net score of Hole #8
3. The ball may be rolled over with the head of the club anywhere except the sand traps.
4. Hit the wrong ball. Replace as near as possible - no penalty.
5. Lost ball: drop as near as possible to where it went out. Apply 1 stroke penalty.
6. Ball out of bounds: No provisional needed. Take a drop where it went OB - 3 club lengths and a 1 stroke penalty.
*****
7. Hole #4: If you hit your tee shot in water, down the hill or in woods, ball is OB. Take a 1 stroke penalty and use the island drop zone. If the ball lands on rocks or the edge of a barrier, move to the closest point of relief, no penalty. If the player decides to place the ball on the upper level of the island, in the rough, add a penalty stroke.
8. Recommendation for hole #4: if a tee shot is hit down the hill, but short of the water, the league recommends that you play your next shot from the island drop zone, as your third shot. This is both a safety concern, because of the slope, and also a pace of play issue.
*****
9. Maximum strokes per hole is 2x PAR, except hole #9 which stays at 9 strokes max. .
10. Play READY GOLF.

Handicap Guidelines:
For all scrambles, use the average of all the players in the group.
For any scramble, if someone does not have an official handicap, apply a 9 for that player.
The Maximum individual handicap was lowered from 25 to 22 for league members.
