Post Volunteer for 2013 Board of Directors 
Interested in volunteering for a position on the Board of Directors? We will vote on the board of directors at the banquet. Note: We currently do not have any volunteers for the Tournament Director or Handicap.
Below is a description of each of the positions along with those that are interested in volunteering for the 2013 season.

President: Arlene Stover
The President shall preside at all meetings of the Club, shall be invited to all committee meetings, and shall exercise general supervision over the Club sponsored activities. She shall request volunteers or appoint committee chairwomen as deemed necessary in the best interest of the Club.

Vice President: Barbara Royea
The Vice President shall exercise the presidential powers in the absence of the President. The Vice President shall fill in on a committee as deemed necessary. The Vice President shall be responsible for the Club’s annual banquet: she shall determine a location, time and date for the event and may appoint a committee to assist her with the task. She shall be responsible for the collection of all funding for the banquet.

Secretary: Lauri Swanke
The Secretary shall be responsible for recording and maintaining all minutes from all meetings of the club. She shall be responsible for all necessary mailings to the membership. She shall be responsible for the “sunshine” fund and shall send condolence or congratulatory cards to members as deemed appropriate. Any recommendation for a donation or gift above a card shall be brought to the Executive Committee for review. Funding to come from the Club general fund. In addition, it is her responsibility to maintain the two Club plaques hanging in the clubhouse, ordering the new brass plates annually. Funding to come from the Club’s general fund.

Treasurer: Karen Howard
The Treasurer shall collect all monies due the Club and distribute it as directed by the Club officers or a majority vote of Club members. She shall make a report of the financial condition for the Club at all meetings or at such time requested by the President. She shall manage all financial affairs of the Club, keeping a complete record thereof. She shall maintain a current and up-to-date list of the membership.

Tournament Director: Open
The Treasurer shall collect all monies due the Club and distribute it as directed by the Club officers or a majority vote of Club members. She shall make a report of the financial condition for the Club at all meetings or at such time requested by the President. She shall manage all financial affairs of the Club, keeping a complete record thereof. She shall maintain a current and up-to-date list of the membership.
The Tournament Director shall set up the rules for the Monday Night Tournament Play as well as the Club Championship. She shall determine the prizes, awards, and trophies in consultation and approval of the officers. She shall be responsible for the posting of all notices regarding tournament play as well as the Club Championship. Any proposed changes must be discussed with the Executive Committee. They in turn will determine if the change needs to brought before the general membership for a vote. It shall be her responsibility to purchase the Championship prizes, the banquet gifts, Club gifts and officer’s gifts for the annual banquet. The funding of these gifts and prizes shall be determined by the Executive Committee based on funds available.

Handicap:
Open
The Handicap Chairwoman shall be responsible for all aspects of handicaps. She shall be responsible for obtaining payment for handicap fees to the State association from the Treasurer. She shall be responsible for communicating and posting for the membership any and all changes in handicap rules or record keeping. It is her responsibility to ascertain that handicaps are filled in on the weekly sheet correctly and accurately and submitted accordingly. All new handicap sheets and cards received shall be posted in a timely manner prior to Monday night weekly tournament play.

Special Tournaments
Rally for the Cure: Can be more than one person.
Coordinate the Rally for the Cure tournament. Including sign up, collecting the money and working with the Rally for the Cure to obtain the gifts.

Member/Guest Tournament: Can be more than one person.
Coordinate the Member/Guest tournament including food, awards and raffle prizes.
