About Karen:
Karen Nadeau was first diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in March 2008. She overcame that battle in September 2008. In June of 2010 the cancer returned and Karen went through treatment again, unfortunately, the cancer has come back and she is currently back in treatment. Karen and Bob are members of every league at Chanticlair including the Women’s League, Men’s League, Friday Night League and participate in many tournaments to help support other causes.
Karen is currently employed as an Engineer at Electric Boat where she met her husband Bob Nadeau. Karen has worked there for 15 yrs and Bob retired from EB after 32 years. When Bob retired Karen took up golf again after not having played since High School.
Although golf is high on the list of things to do, Bob and Karen are a very active couple. They fish, Bow hunt and shoot pistols. They are President and Vice President of the Norwich Archery Club located in Bozrah. They also have a small business Traditional Cedar Arrows supplying the traditional archer with wood arrows.
Karen has two sons from a previous marriage, Jackson who is a junior at UCONN and Dean who started his freshman year in August.
Bob and I would like to thank all of you for helping during this trying time.
Thank you!
